Synthpop band The Foxglove Hunt emerged in Phoenix in 2006 out of the dissolution of Fine China. Lead vocalist Rob Withem left his old indie rock band to form a new duo with Ronnie Martin of Joy Electric. The video for their single "A Concealed Weapon" has an absurd neo-disco vibe, with glittering colorful backgrounds and an abundance of sunglasses. I imagine the whole affair is at least somewhat tongue-in-cheek. Withem manages to sound awfully British on this fun poppy track. Check out the video below.
